Obituary of Richelle Ann Nicklas

Richelle Ann Nicklas nee Thomas, 55 passed peacefully after struggling with cancer at her home in Lakewood, CO on February 26, 2024.  She was born on 30 Dec 1968 to Richard and Sharon (Shaw) Thomas in Salem Ohio.  They moved to Colorado in the early 1970s where she graduated from Lakewood High School.  She met and married Wesley Nicklas and bore 2 sons: Brandon and Jeremy.  She worked for CoorsTek as a purchasing agent for over 30 years.  She is predeceased by her father and oldest son Brandon.  She is survived by her mother Sharon L. Young, her stepfather Richard Young (Tricia), her brother Scott Thomas (Kristin), nephew Camren Thomas and niece Afton Thomas, her son Jeremy D. Nicklas (Brooke) and granddaughter Kendall LaLonde-Nicklas.  She was loved and cherished by all and will be sorely missed.  A memorial service will be held at 10 am, Saturday March 16 at Aspen Mortuaries, 1350 Simms Street, Lakewood, CO 80401.   The family asks that in lieu of flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society at:
