Obituary of Kathleen M. Bauman

Kathleen Marie O'Reilly Smith Bauman July 25, 1940 - July 13, 2022 Kathleen Bauman of Evergreen, CO went to rest on July 13, 2022. Born and raised in New Jersey, she married Gerard (Jerry) Smith and were the loving parents to Susan (Roger) Schwery, Andrew (Kristi) Smith, Nancy (Scott Clements) Chisholm, and Eileen (Rick) Desch. She was also proudly known as Gigi to 5 grandchildren. Kathleen married Roger Bauman in September of 1992 and became stepmother to Wayne, Cindy, Jeff, Mary and Gary Bauman, and grandmother to 6. Kathleen is also survived by her sister Margaret Macintosh. Spousal career opportunities brought Kathleen to Colorado, but the beautiful mountains and abundant wildlife kept her here and fulfilled. Kathleen loved exploring the majestic landscape of Colorado, insisted on living where deer and elk were her neighbors, and accomplished her dream of owning a horse. Her style, grace and strength led to a successful career in retail management and connected her with many lifelong friendships. The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life in her honor.
