Obituary of Robert Louis Thies

Robert (Bob) Thies, August 23, 1938 - March 1, 2023

Bob was born and raised in Appleton, WI, joining the military in 1955.  Bob served  his country proudly for 6 years as a submariner and medic.  Bob led an adventurous life after the military, sailing in waters such as the Florida Keys and Lake Dillon, CO.  

Bob was a skilled electrician, and served the Denver area for many years.  Bob built his own house in Evergreen from scratch, with the help of his dear friends.

Bob is preceded by his brother Jim, brother George, sister Jean, and son J.P., as well as many of his life long friends.  Bob is survived by Sharon, Jill, Brad, and fellow lover of Popsicles, Henry. 

Services to be held at Ft. Logan on April 26th, 2023, Staging Area B.  Staging to begin at 11 a.m. with services to begin promptly at 11:30.
