Obituary of Richard Edvard Yoder

RICHARD "DICK" EDVARD YODER

Richard (Dick) E. Yoder of Lakewood, CO, formerly of Lancaster, PA, died unexpectedly on December 16, 2022 at the age of 75.

Dick is survived by; his wife, Michelle Gonzalez-Yoder; his daughters, Lori Spicer of Lebanon PA, Lisa Morgan of Sanford NC, Melissa Yoder of Cave Creek AZ and son, Christopher, husband of Kimberly Padilla of Bennett, CO; his granchildren Brett Morgan of Mount Joy PA, Evan Spicer of Lebanon PA, Maisy Scalise of Cave Creek AZ, Isabella Morgan of Sanford NC, Shayne, Mariano and Michelle Padilla of Bennett CO and his beloved service dog, Bella.  He is predeceased by his granddaughter Nicole Spicer, daughter Shayne Padilla, and his in-laws Michael and Aurora Gonzalez. 

Dick was born in Darmstadt Germany on June 25, 1947, to Sargent Robert E. and Elsie (Vonderschmidt) Yoder.  Dick was a Veteran in the US Army and was a past member of the VFW Mount Joy, PA and American Legion Post 34 in Lancaster, PA.  Dick loved living in Colorado and enjoyed hiking, fishing, skiing and flying.  He spent time helping Veterans and Veteran organizations.

A private funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on January 19th.
