Kathleen Mary Kelty Hubbard

April 22, 1937 - August 30, 2022

Kathleen Hubbard, 85, of Denver, Colorado passed away on August 30, 2022. Kay was born in Denver on April 22, 1937 to Nellie Mae and William Kelty. She attended Cathedral High School. 

Kathleen worked as secretary and computer instructor for Public Service Company. She enjoyed many hobbies: gardening, knitting and sewing. Her family and friends were often the lucky recipients of her many hand-crafted sweaters, table linens and holiday decorations. Kay was also a proud member of Colorado Mountain Club and the Skimeisters. Kathleen loved biking and hiking. She was a volunteer crew member and helped to build the Colorado Trail. Kay is survived by her brothers, Paul and David, and was predeceased by her husband Robert Hubbard, her brother Edward and her dear friend Bill Moran

A mass will be held at Risen Christ Church, 3060 S. Monaco Parkway, Denver, 80222 on Friday, September 23 at 10:00 AM. A reception will follow in the parish hall immediately afterwards.  The interment will be at Ft. Logan on Monday, September 26 at 1:00 PM.
