Obituary of Vera L. Rodasta

Vera Rodasta was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend. She passed away on March 12th 2022 and the age of 96. She was born to Stanford and Edith Johnson on August 24th 1925. After graduating high school, she worked at Jackson Chevrolet as a secretary, where she met her husband, Charles. They were married on December 29th 1951. They celebrated 47 years of marriage. Vera had 3 children Harold, William and James. Vera also has 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. Vera loved to cook for her family and friends. She had a catering service through Christ the King Catholic Church in Pueblo. Vera was a troop leader for under privileged young women in the Girl Scouts. In 1976 Vera started selling Avon from her house. She worked for Avon for 44 years, up to just a few days before she passed away. She was in Avon†™s Presidents club for the majority of her time with Avon. A memorial service is scheduled for 2 pm on March 19th 2022 at the Aspen Mortuary in Lakewood Colorado. A donation in Vera†™s name to a charity of your choice is requested in lieu of flowers.
