Obituary of Josie Harris

Josephine (Josie) Theodora Harris was born on February 17th 1922 in Weston, CO to Abelino Balerio and Dulcinea Aragon. Josie entered eternal rest on January 24th 2022 at the age of 99, just one month short of her 100th birthday. She is preceded in death by her husband Jim Harris, Brother Luciano Balerio, children Bobby Trujillo, John Trujillo, Eleanor Reeves, Lillian Bengston, Donna Trujillo and Albert Martinez. She is survived by her children Virginia Lovato (Vincent), Charlotte Thompson, Joseph Trujillo, Juanita Baca (Matthew), Marie Martinez and Monica Martinez, nieces, nephews, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as great-great grandchildren. Josie was a loving woman who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a positive and amazing soul who could make the best out of any situation. Words cannot describe how much she will be missed. We love you Grandma Josie forever and always! Services will be held February 18th 2022 at Aspen Memorial Chapel 1350 Simms St, Lakewood CO 80401 at 2PM. Reception will follow at Knights of Columbus 4935 W. 1st Ave, Denver, CO 80219.
