Obituary of Carolee Josephine Smith

Carolee Josephine Smith 12/7/1956-11/19/2021 Carolee was born in Denver Colorado to Eloy and Cecelia Chavez. Lived most of her life in Aurora, Colorado. She was number 8 of 10 kids. Proceeded in death by her brothers Anthony Chavez, Donnie Chavez, and sister Genevieve Robertson. Survived by brothers Ben Chavez and Mike Chavez, sisters MaryChavez, Becky Ralston, Cathy Baudinat, and Margaret Hebert. She gave life to 3 children with Mark Smith, David Smith (Sheila), Kenny Smith (Mindy), and Cecelia Miller (Phylip). Cecelia gave life to Caleb (22) and Lilly (20). David gave her Anthony (20) and Nicholas (2004-2015). Kenny gave her Leannah (14) and Landon (10). Caleb gave her Gaberial (4). Everyone who knew Carolee knew how caring she was. She started her own childcare business and prided herself in caring for children. Throughout the years she touched many lives including many of her nieces and nephews. She was always willing to take anyone in, and cared for many of her children†™s friends for long periods of time as well as her grandchildren. We have celebrated her life with close family and friends. We are planning a larger celebration of life in 2022. Please reach out to one of her children with any questions regarding the memorial.
