Obituary of Patrick Lewis Morris

On the morning of Friday January 14, 2022, Patrick "Pat" Morris resident of Commerce City, Colorado gained his wings after an almost 30 year on and off battle with renal failure. Pat was born on Tuesday April 16, 1968 in Denver, Colorado to Dorothea Cooper and Paul Morris Sr. He was diagnosed with Bright's disease at 5 years old, where he then battled with many health issues until 1993 when his kidney fully failed and was on dialysis. The health battles continued and he finally received a kidney transplant in 2011, and lasted him almost 10 years. In 2020 the transplanted kidney also failed, and he was on dialysis until his passing. He lived an extraordinary life, and never let his health bring him down. He is survived by his biological daughter Kristina "Krissy," his step daughter Dorothy "Dorie," step son Anthony "Tony," and son-in-laws Ryan and Michael. Three granddaughters, Hailey, Letty-Rose, and Willow. Two grandsons Kaylub and Christian. Two older brothers Dana and Paul. Three older sisters, Debbie, Martha, and Mary, lifetime best friend Ernest, numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family, as well as countless friends. He came from a large family and was the youngest of 9 siblings, he always had a "open door" policy and his home was the home of so many that he loved and cared for. He always gave his time to others in need, if you needed him he was there. Being a Colorado native, he loved all things outdoors, fishing, camping, hunting, ect. Family was very important to him, and he always made sure to share memories of all of them so even if they never met, his children still knew about them. He was so full of life, even on the hardest days he made sure to pull through and he did it with a smile. He was very active in his children's lives, and always participated in their school events and activities, and was very known by his children's friends. He was extremely loved, and will be greatly missed by many.
