Obituary of John Fillmore Kakac

John Fillmore Kakac was a loving husband, son, father, brother, papa, and friend. John passed away unexpectedly on February 10th, 2022 at the age of 73. He was surrounded by his family. John was born to Fill and Ola Mae Kakac on February 3rd, 1949. His senior year in high school he met the love of his life, Claudine, whom he has been married to for 52 years. They had three boys: Paul, Brian and Jeffrey. John graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible from Central Christian College. He received his Master of Arts as well as a Master of Divinity from Lincoln Christian College. John committed his life to serving Jesus and was ordained as a Pastor on August 20th, 1972. He pastored churches for over thirty years. After retiring from full time ministry, he continued to help teach and preach wherever there was a need. John loved to be outdoors with his family and enjoyed hunting with his sons every year. He loved carpentry and working with his hands. John enjoyed being at and working on his cabin. John loved spending time with his grandkids and cherished all the time and memories they had together. Celebration of life service for John F. Kakac will be held at Valley View Christian Church on February 26, 2022 at 1pm.
