Obituary of Billy Eugene Harper

Billy Eugene Harper Saturday, August 11, 1934 †" Saturday, March 5, 2022 Billy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was born in Ranger, Texas to G. Edward Harper and Annie V. Kimmell. He was proceeded in death by his parents, his sisters Marie and Barbara and brothers Bob, Fred and Tommy Joe. He is survived by his wife Pearl, children Steve (Lonna), Karen (John) and Kevin (Joyce). His grandchildren Bryan (Natalie), Tara (Adam), Lisa (Christopher), Nolan (Breelyn), Shawna (Matthew), Logan (Erin), Kimberly and 12 great-grandchildren. Billy graduated from Texas A & M with a Civil Engineering degree and spent 30 years working with the U.S. Forest Service in various locations. He was always working on some type of project to keep his mind and body busy. Billy and Pearl grew up together and were married for 67 years. Pearl said her mother had picked him out for her when Billy was 6 months old. Billy used to say he was doomed from the start and then laugh and smile at Pearl and hold her hand. His presence and wry sense of humor will be missed. Till we meet again Dad.
