Obituary of Philip Alan Lucci

†‹Philip A. Lucci, 61, passed away quietly at home with his family on March 16,2022, after bravely fighting a rare lung since 2016. Phil was very proud to be a Colorado native! He enjoyed spending time in the mountains, camping & fishing with his family! Phil was also an excellent gardener, Beautiful flowers, roses & his grass was always the greenest in the neighborhood! Beyond Colorado he loved to travel wherever he could if there was Sun, Sand & Blue ocean water as often as possible! Phil was a hard & reliable worker! He got his work ethic from his father, who owned a greenhouse which Phil worked for many years. That's where he gained most of his knowledge of plants & landscaping which was his true passion at heart! Phil also worked for U S Food service for 35 years! He was a Steward for the Teamsters Union 435 for a period during contract negotiations. Phil met his wife Nora in 1983 they were married in Las Vegas in 1985 when they eloped! March 10, 2018, they were married at St Joan Arc Catholic Church to make it official! January 6, 2022, they celebrated 37 years! Together they raised 4 amazing children, Nichole Morrison (Matt), Tyler Lucci (Ali), Meaghan Lucci & Samantha Lucci. Along with children they were blessed with grandchildren 9 to be exact! Apryl, Alexys, Addysen, Garhett & Brenden Morrison. Landen, Charlie & Tayler Lucci. Michael Lucci He was preceded in death by his father, Tony Lucci and is survived by his mother Doris Lucci( England) He was also survived by his brothers & sisters: Steve Lucci (Angie), Roberta Widener(Don), Carol McCoy(Kerry), Jeff Lucci(Laura), Andy; and many nieces & nephews. He was truly loved and will be forever missed! Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 15735 W,58th Avenue Arvada, Colorado 80002 on March 29, 2022 10:30 Viewing : 10:00 Reception to follow in the New Orleans Hall
