Obituary of Marlene Grace Rohrer

Marlene Price Rohrer went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday May 11th after a long battle with Alzheimer†™s. She was born June 25th 1935 in Nebraska to Frank and Alyce Church. Her family moved to Colorado shortly after she was born, and she lived here for the entirety of her life. Marlene had five children whom she provided for by herself. She was an amazing cook and baker, and was very active in her church and loved working with children in the junior church. Marlene was known for her fudge and cookies she would make every Christmas, and would make several batches to give away. She was always doing things to make others laugh with her quirky sayings and crazy antics. Marlene is preceded in death by her parents, her daughters Evelyn McNamara and Carol Price, and her son Tom Price. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Fuqua of Commerce City. Grandchildren Robert(Debbie) McNamara of Littleton, Chris (Jim) Kern of Littleton, Paul ( Sherrie) Price of Goshen, Ohio, Kari ( Russell) Vaughan of Lakewood, and Faith ( Scott) Rau of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma ,and great grandchildren Michael, Nicholas, Jeremy, Zach, and Andrew. Marlene will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her memorial services will be held at Northside Baptist Church ( 11550 Washington Street Northglenn 80233) on Friday May 20th at 1:00 in the afternoon. In Lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Northside Baptist Church in Marlene†™s name. All proceeds will be given to the children†™s ministries of the church.
