Obituary of Twila Pauline Kilian

Twila Pauline (Rohrer) Kilian Pauline Kilian of Lakewood lived a life full of love and optimism in her nearly 94 years. She was born on June 20th, 1928 in Camargo, OK to Jack and Bessie Rohrer and grew up helping on the family homestead. She had five siblings, and although we have lost Laveta, Lela and David, her sister Lynda and brother Donald will continue to share her memory. In 1953 she married Theophil Kilian, a Marine veteran who later worked as a long-haul truck driver, until his death in January 1983. Together they were blessed with three children; Char, Lynn and Carol. As the years passed her family grew with son/daughter in-laws, four granddaughters, five great-grandchildren, many grand-dogs & grand-cats. She will join her husband and additional loved ones in heaven. In lieu of flowers, we ask that people remember her by enjoying a cup of coffee, planting flowers on a sunny day, sending a handwritten card to a loved one, wearing pink, hugging your family a little tighter or making a donation in her name to St. Jude's Hospital or a charity of your choice. Her funeral will be held on June 7th at the Aspen Mortuary in Lakewood and she will be laid to rest at Golden Cemetery.
