I had tremendous respect for George. Other than his good nature and professionalism at Western Fuels, I recall especially his heroic, multi-day effort to save the Deserado Mine by drilling several hundred feet under frigid conditions to hit a narrow area along the longwall face and inject CO2 to snuff the underground inferno. :Ned Leonard, Arlington, VA

Uncle Mike was lucky in life, love, and family. A life full of friends, a fantastic loving wife in Christy, and a wonderful family - Jenny, Brian, and Carrie. Add the grandkids and he was full. One thing on my bucket list was to go hunting with Mike. Missed that one and will miss Mike. Rick Hanson
