Obituary of Duane "Dew" Dean Johnson

Duane "Dew" Johnson, age 59, of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly at his family home on Thursday, August 11th, 2022. Born to Jimmy and Judy Johnson on October 24, 1962 in Denver, Colorado, Duane was the oldest of two sons and spent his time working and surrounding himself with family and friends. 

Raised in Edgewater, Colorado, Duane was a 1981 graduate and fellow Saint of Jefferson High School where he made many lifelong friends. The simple pleasures of life brought Duane great joy. As a lifelong lover of sports, Duane was an avid bowler, golfer, hunter and fisherman. He was also a partner with his brother and father in their family owned concrete company, James R. Johnson and Sons Concrete.

Duane is survived by his father, Jimmy Johnson, his brother Corky Johnson, his nephew Travis Johnson, his niece Melanie Johnson, several cousins and was preceded in death by his mother Judy Johnson.
