Obituary of Cheryl Lyn Kresak

Cheryl passed away August 30, 2022 at age 56 in her home in Central City, CO.  Cheryl was born in in Oakland, California July 19, 1966.  She is survived by her Parents Frank and Connie Kresak, and a Brother, Wade T. Kresak,  also many relatives. Her cats, Zoe and Paisley were her kids. She loved them so.

Cheryl grew up in Chicago, IL and Thornton, CO.  She graduated from Highland High School in Thornton, CO.  After graduation she moved to Hollywood, CA to try getting into the movies, that didn't work out, although she had a good time there.   She eventually moved back to Colorado.  Cheryl worked a variety of jobs and eventually ended up in Central City, CO where she was a 20 - year resident.  She loved the mountains.  She worked in the casinos bartending and various other positions in BlackHawk and Central City. Cheryl went to Beauty School, cutting and coloring hair for a lot of people in that area.  Cheryl was into crafts, making a variety of items ,jewelry, candles, lotions, potions etc.  She crocheted 101 blankets for Denver Health Centers Pediatric Section.  Cheryl worked in her yard, growing many plants, many medicinal.  She had a lot of friends and family who will miss her smile and laughter.  She was a bright light in many lives.  Her light will continue to shine brightly.
