Obituary of Theodore John Obrecht

Theodore John Obrecht (Ted), 73 of Hudson, CO passed away in his home on 10/8/2022. Growing up in a military family Ted lived in several different places, from Germany to Alaska, but always found himself back in Colorado Springs, CO at Ft. Carson. Ted served in the Army from 1968-1970 and was a helicopter pilot in the Vietnam War. 

Ted married his lovely bride Jane in November of 1993 in Northglenn, CO.

Ted worked for the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment and retired in 2011. He loved golfing, bowling, camping, fishing, yard work, family, and was an avid dog lover. 

He is survived by: His wife Jane, 5 children, 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren with the 4th on the way, 2 nephews, 1 great-niece and one great-nephew.
