Obituary of Timothy James Snyder

Timothy James Snyder (Oct 13 1948 - Dec 17 2022) Born in Milwaukee WI to John George Snyder and Gladys Arvella (Chapman) Snyder. Milwaukee West Division High School class of 1967. United States Marine Corps Vietnam veteran. Married (1970) the love of his life, Jean Ella MacDonald, who he met in their high school art class. Children: Julie Marie (1971), Anna Patricia (1974-deceased), Timothy John (1975). Though divorced in 2000, Tim remained a constant and loving friend to Jean all his life. He spent the majority of his working years at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel as a press operator. After retiring, he moved to live near family in the Denver CO area.

 

 He was one of nine children. Preceded in death by his brothers Alan, Thomas (twin), and John. Surviving siblings are Dorothy (O'Connor), Carol (Woznick), Sue, Linda and Jerome. He passed away on December 17th in Arvada Colorado.

 

Tim had great faith in the lord and wrote daily messages to God. He was a friend to anyone and shared a generous heart. He was not afraid to be silly, and never hesitated to give of himself in service to others. He loved family and strangers alike, and he will be fondly remembered for his big heart.

 

Gathering at Wauwatosa Avenue United Methodist Church, 1529 N. Wauwatosa Ave., Wauwatosa, WI 53213 on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 10 AM until the time of Memorial Service at 11 AM.
