Obituary of Lois Jane Payte

Lois Jane Payte of Arvada entered into rest on January 15, 2023 surrounded by her family. Preceeded in death by her husband of 56 years,  and her son, Jimmy. Surviving children are Suzie Madden (Jerry), Robert Payte,  Debbie Ray (Steve), also 9 grandchildren & 14 great grandchildren. 

Born of George & Hazel Workman (Matteson) May 17, 1942. 4rth of 8; 

First was Mae, Jerry, Jeannie, Lois, then George, Kathie, linnea and Raymond Matteson.  

She grew up in Wheatridge. Graduated from Westminster high school in 1960.

She met the love of her life through a friend (Betty) who introduced her to her twin brother, named Bobby.  

She worked at Hartford insurance and went to business school. 

On February 10, 1062 She & Bobby were married. They had 4 children. 

She had a daycare. She sold Shaklee, and was always very intrigued by good nutrition,  she became manager at GNC Westminster mall for over 20 years.

She enjoyed gardening, vegetables and beautiful roses. Camping, biking, walking & spending time with family and especially grandchildren. 

We will miss her good advice, coffee and smile.

She's finally in peace & home.
