Obituary of Kathleen Malecky

Kathleen (Kathy) Malecky passed peacefully on February 3, 2023 at Rose Medical Center in Denver Colorado at the age of 71. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on March 25, 1951, she was raised in West Mifflin in a very close-knit neighborhood. Kathy eventually moved to Independence, Missouri and then to Denver, Colorado to be near her daughter.

Loving mother of Theresa Buzay (Matt) and Brian Stroup (Lisa Svidron), Kathy is also survived by two sisters (Karen, Eileen), one brother (Larry), and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Kathy loved nature, especially the mountains, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be missed for her kindness, generosity, and gentle disposition.
