Thomas “Tom” Hall

October 23, 1954 – February 15, 2023

Thomas “Tom” Hall, 68, of Golden, Colorado, passed away February 15th 2023, surrounded by his family and friends after a battle with interstitial lung disease. He was born in Golden, Colorado, to Everett and Phyllis Hall on October 23, 1954. He grew up in Golden with his two brothers and two sisters, living his best life with his friends, many whom are still living in Golden today. He attended Mitchell Elementary and Golden High School (class of 1973), where he developed lifelong friendships and an appreciation for the outdoors.

At the age of 18 he started working for Jefferson County Road and Bridge. He worked on everything from Rock Crushers, Bull Dozers, Graders and Snow Plows. After 46 years in the field he finally retired in 2019.

He met his wife Patti in Golden and they were married May 30, 1987. With two young boys, Zeb and Zach, to now look after, Tom took on the new role as husband and father willingly.

Tom always enjoyed the outdoors, from riding horses, chasing cows, fishing, hunting, or just plain camping. He would go every chance that he had. His favorite pass time was hunting, which no-one can say for certain if he ever left camp, but he was always there with the fire, the coffee, and good quiet conversation. His new enjoyment was camping in the trailer with his wife and taking the Razor out on some sketchy trails with some of their close friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patti; children, Zeb (Renee) and Zach Pike; grandchildren: Dillon, Zachary Jr., Adelaide and Magnolia Pike; as well as Nieces, Nephews, extended family and so many Friends. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Guy and John, sisters Sue and Judy.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of life, which will be held on March 10, at the Arvada American Legion, 6230 West 60th Avenue from 2:00 to 6:00 pm.
