Obituary of Betty R. Kent

Betty (Parsons) Kent, 79, of Commerce City, Colorado, died on Monday, April 24, 2023.

Betty was born October 2, 1943, in Fort Morgan, Colorado to Lemuel Parsons and Ida (Smith) Parsons. She was the last survivor out of 13 brothers and sisters. She grew up in Fort Morgan, Colorado.

She worked in retail for many years. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, loving grandmother, loving great grandmother, and a special friend to those who knew her.

She married Raymond F. Kent June 3, 1962 and together they had two children, Francine (Kent) Walker and Raymond F. Kent Jr.

Betty is survived by her husband of 60 years, Raymond Kent of Commerce City, CO, their daughter Francine (Greg) Walker of Buffalo, Wyoming, their son Raymond F. Kent Jr (Jennifer) of Gillette, Wyoming, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters

Memorial Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Aspen Mortuary in Commerce City, Colorado with a get together after the service at Aspen Mortuary.
