Obituary of David Gutierrez Gutierrez

We are very saddened to announce the passing of David G. Gutierrez, of Denver, Colorado. He left us on May 13th, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. David was born on October 8th,1954, in San Antonio, Texas to parents Frank Gutierrez and Mary (Maria) Gutierrez. He is survived by his three daughters: Charise Gutierrez, Sabrina Gutierrez (and partner David Rees), and Lupe Garcia. 

He was previously married to Tina Gutierrez (née Trujillo). They met in 1979 and married in 1985. They were married for 17 years. Although they divorced later in life, they remained close friends and partners in raising their two daughters until his passing.

David served in the United States Marine Corps from 1974 to 1978, and he was very proud to have served his country. He will be laid to rest in Fort Logan National Cemetery. 

David will be remembered as a loving and devoted father and friend. He was known for his ability to make people laugh and how easygoing and thoughtful he was. He was always there when you needed him, ready to help however he could. He loved living in Colorado, good food, having fun, being with his family, and the Denver Broncos. He will be truly missed and is so deeply loved by those who knew him.
